HOUSE The house is late Georgian with a large drawing room and dining room for the use of the guests. In the winter, fires are lit to keep the guests warm and in the summer, drinks can be served in the garden's Summer House.

GARDENS Three and a half acres of garden are carefully tended by John and Caroline, with large herbaceous borders, a pond with an island and bridge, and spectacular mature trees. Vegetables are grown in a potager and are used all summer for guests and family.

CUISINE Caroline prides herself on her cooking. You will find the meals beautifully presented on best china with every care taken in finding the best flavours and ingredients. A typical dinner would consist of a fish course, meat or game course, and pudding. Breakfast is traditional with stewed fruit from the garden and freshly laid eggs with your bacon and sausage, followed by toast and homemade jam or marmalade.
